Moments

by George Hoerner

there they go
walking through Saks
or the Dollar store
out to get the mail
cutting grass or painting
typing or on the phone

each absorbed by
the task at hand
picking up a scalpel
or perhaps a pen

each moving from
moment to moment
through something
each calls life

...a wonderful thought progression, and i raise you by childhoods, early adulthood, mid-thirties, then ten year spurts [society's zeitgeists], then retirement...good 'un George.

From start to finish- excellent. The last line was "right on".

This makes me think of pin points in time with a human stuck to the end of each pin, here, there, over there. I like what this makes me visualize.
