two little monkeys by Maria Francescaone little monkey
jumpin' on the bed
all that bouncin'
hurt her head
so she took a little stroll
by the ocean shore
and ran into the monkey
that lived next door
he was clever and cute
and sweet, to boot
in his little bow tie
and his monkey suit
so she batted her lashes
and wiggled her behind
and did her very best
to monkey shine
and since he was a brainy chimpanzee
he followed her back to her monkey tree
two little monkeys
jumpin' on the bed
decided to monkey around instead
and they made their monkey magic
and they saw and they did
and they had themselves
some monkey kids
and they're swingin' from the trees
to this very day -
I guess that's just
the monkey way.
