Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 06/06/10 at 07:21 PM Wonderfully reflective poem, George. I can relate on both the "then and now" of it. Many of us, imho, have much unfinished childhood business. Thanks. |
Posted by Joan Serratelli on 06/07/10 at 04:58 PM GREAT Work- very reflective. There are many questions that have no answers. We get older- we learn from our mistakes. The past is just that: the past. Let go of it and go forwards. Brilliant piece- from start to finish. |
Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 06/08/10 at 11:43 AM I think you found yourself long ago George and all that you write is letting us know, with all these fantastic poems you are continually letting us know that you are George. Only one George and that is you and to read these poems is to find no one else but a man who surely knows himself, via the writing of these odes. How else but to arrive at ourselves to to write ourselves out? |

Posted by Morgan D Hafele on 06/11/10 at 05:01 PM this is such a fantastic reflection on life, it feels familiar and leaves room for the unknown |

Posted by Paul Lastovica on 08/27/10 at 07:47 PM Seems once you lose yourself it's a long time spent picking up the pieces. Got a proverbial basket full of shards, peruse them if you like - i may have picked up one of yours along the way, just in case i bumped into you. |
