I am sick up to here with ampersands

don't be just another horse's colon.
maybe one of those dot dot dot things would be okay...
as long as it's followed by an exclamation point.
see, I'm not looking for a snack --
I'm not the nibbler I used to be
I'm hungry for that thanksgiving dinner
so if I let you into my kitchen
please make something worth the gas it takes
to get my burners going.
