where would chivalrous politics be if it wasn't kissing somebody's hand, which is probably an improvement from kissing somebody's behind, depending on whose behind, as I've seen some magnificent behinds in my lifetime worth the smooching and none of them espoused politics or at least would not admit to so doing.
