Engineering the Field by Erik JensenGreenamberbrown gradient patchwork,
my tireless efforts to engineer this vision
with perilous obtuse variables.
Whether corn grows precisely 18 degrees to the west,
if wheat joists buckle,
about root mains durability.
Account for choas,
remember sharp edges dull,
craftsmanship is subject to luck.
Not to wax philosophical, but
perfection modestly encompasses error.
So as the rows emerge towering,
we'll wonder at our capacity
to plan, to work, to worry
and construct one of the wonders
of the modest world. 04/25/2010 Posted on 04/26/2010 Copyright © 2024 Erik Jensen
