Changing

by Alison McKenzie

Every cell falls into alignment
With the elements called upon
To make this arrangement possible.

An arc over the continents
Containing the particles of love,
The agreement of souls
By which covenants are sealed
And imbalances cured.

The healing begins
In the streaming of energies
Brought together for these moments
And these moments alone.

Each faction of a life
Consenting to the unification of events,
The calibration of the future –

We are changing the world.

...a delicious pome talking about the 'untalkaboutable'...you see the wind...truly...it's colors of the rainbow fly by and we're usually bent-over picking-up a penny. alas, it is a magic carpet, eh? a feeling of 'for a split-second i can see it ALL...so quickly it turns into the very air you could see earlier...ride the crest [of life]. i wish to write of that moment, that one that everyone has, this puppy does that, i doff me tam.

Beautifully written. Healing seems to be what we're all involved in from the moment we are born. We might not recognize this as it is happening, though, right? Without it, I see no way of being able to embrace genuineness.

How gracious, this poem.

There needs to be a button for me to press that says, "This is one of my favorite poems ever. Suggest this poem for the poem of the day. Suggest this member for the member spotlight. brilliant. outstanding flow. vivid. memorable." If that button would have existed, I would have clicked it. Amazing work, my friend. Amazing.
