SPRINGTIME AH-CHO0 by Maude CurtisIt's springtime in our 3 1/2 acre woods.
The wildlife is beginning to come alive.
The trees and bushes are sprouting
and my senses are starting to revive.
The winter has been cold and wet,
thought I'd never see the sun again,
all of a sudden I feel it's warmth
and my heart begins to grin.
Pooh has emerged from his cave
ready to meet the new season.
Soon he'll been mowing and sowing
and I'm already starting the sneezin'.
My eyes are puffy and I start to wheeze.
The vaporizer runs 24/7.
But it's just a small price to pay
to be living in our piece of heaven.
