Posted by Laurie Blum on 03/30/10 at 03:08 PM This is a seductive little number... In the Spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love Am I right? Nicely done. |
Posted by Joan Serratelli on 03/30/10 at 04:59 PM yes, you have it- when the weather gets warmer; my clothes get lighter- I wear dress and skirts. I'm too old to wear the clothes I like; but I couldn't care less what anyone thinks.I'm a "child of the 60's". I wear my mini dresses with a smile on my face!- Love this poem- thanks! |
Posted by Amie Golda on 03/30/10 at 05:18 PM Very creative write, bold yet not vulgar. Honest and yet worded simply, bluntly but still well crafted. Just another way of stopping to smell the roses in life, when a new season comes. Well done. |
Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 03/30/10 at 06:52 PM Shedding winter, George directs our eyes. I enjoy the male counterpart to this, relating to the side dish on spring and summer's menu. Thank you! ;) |

Posted by Julie Adams on 04/03/10 at 01:43 PM I love this piece, the honesty it shares, the imagery it projects, the subtly of it's natural inclinations, peeking much like those fleshy parts you describe...loved it all, through your eyes...peace to u poet, jewels xoxox |
