On Being Careful What You Wish For by Chris Sorrenti
all their years spent yearning
for intimate fantasies realized
when one day offered the opportunity
they didn't have to think
happily carted off
to a pornographic palace
wined and dined with the best
in the business of doing the dirty
then after an hour or so of digestion
conversation and chemistry
summoned before the cameras
that never sleep
all manner of position combination
props and partners explored
some dreams fulfilled
beyond a doubt
while others quickly evaporating
before reality's floodlight

Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 03/19/10 at 05:11 AM ...I would chance to say perhaps, "easy come, easy go"....but that is not quite enough. Maybe, that there is only misfortune in not being loved; but surely there is misery in not loving. A fascinating write, indeed. So, we try. Thanks. |
