76 Million – Oregon Lottery! by Michael Defries76 million |
76 million was the day I won,
half-according to the IRS.
Taxation on my earnings
from hard work
earned.
Lottery
the way to win.
Still, it changes nothing;
The sky was filled with arrogant blue
and pouring from hell's tears
onions peeled over sinks
cold steel pressing-down
its oblivion nightmares.
Enter in-to rain with one-drop
wink that eye; bats a cool million.
Today we eat pie and ice-cream,
so tasty-yum!
Celebrate with skies turned-dark
over heaven's pearly- yes, gates;
White with permanence, forever
pacifying the millions-dying to
enter-into the-fold.
It holds places, spots, for VIP's
reserved for diner's pre-registered,
make dinner at 8: and have -
A glass of wine so Sonoma-ed out
that the bling; entering-off that son
spouts my-dentist a clean bill
of health.
Bleach nothing with material bliss
after struggle;
-Placate desire with fantasy-
Live on the -island with tattoo
and sail with loved ones
on the voyages
of sea.
It's the only way to live,
once-
You've won! 02/22/2010 Posted on 02/22/2010 Copyright © 2025 Michael Defries
