Crawling To the Sky by Christopher ShinThe birds chase
the endless gray.
And I faithfully
glare into the
west.
I feel that
even though
I struggle out
each day.
I find that
nothing seems
to come to
a conclusion.
I hide amongst
the glasses and
cemented walls.
Only to see
that I crave
to be out amongst
the sky.

Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 01/25/10 at 04:27 PM I think the birds have it all. That middle stanza seems to be a common human symptom. I liked pondering this. |
