Hot Springs

by Clara Mae Gregory

I am
an unplumbed
well spring
of love,
unlearned,
waiting for
your lambent lips
to taste my fountain
and make it
bubble
again.

Author's Note: What a beautiful day it is here. I went outside in my backyard with my coat on at 1 pm.I just came in and it is almost 2:30 and it warmed up so much I had to take my coat off. And while out there soaking up some glorious sun rays, I felt inspired to have some sensual fun with word-play. :)

Wooo! I like! I like! It is interesting what some sun-bathing or some hot-tub soaking can do for our... sensuality. Very excellent poetic elements here, Clara.

Even Unplumbed, discovery is everything, don't you agree? An unrealized unfinshed sensuality ready to be found.

Makes me want to blush...

And it works!!! This is wonderful because it is so very subtle but so undeniably blatant as well...the fountain bubbling image...nice, very nice!! And it's suddenly warm in here too!!!

Oh yes, a very nice write lady. The light of love can add a great deal to our view of life.

Well, what a loss for that one out there who could be that gentle loving plumber. Enjoyed your playful piece. Ah - for those cool January days. It is already hot in Texas on June 10th.
