Night Driving Without Headlights by V. BlakeNight driving without headlights
It's times like these I hunt my soul
Though it's far too late to find it
And as much will take its toll
'neath skies that will deride me
When I won't let them make amends
For the stars they have denied me
In this dark that doesn't end. 01/13/2010 Author's Note: Poemuary entry #13. Apologies.

| Posted by Glenn Currier on 01/14/10 at 03:03 PM Ah, methinks you are creating a neoPoe movement here. This brings me waaaaaaaaay back. EAP was the first poet I fell in love with. You capture the dark feeling and I like the way you make it personal and soulful in your own Blakeway. I salute you for so young devoting yourself to this craft, this art. |
