Crane Kick

by V. Blake

with the kind of reckless abandon
that just screams, "Sweep the leg, Johnny!"
i turned this poem loose on the world.

i believe that all of its lines will find,
to their great dismay,
rather much in common with the Cobra Kai.
especially insofar as a single blow
can prove enough to drop either one flat.

but you know how it goes,
"If do right, no can defense."

story of my life, man.

This was quite awesome. I liked the outside references coupled with the simple, "relateable" language and sentiment. Awesome write!
