This Christmastide by Clara Mae GregoryDo not let amity hide
as lights shine bright
Upon this Christmastide
Like precious jewels
adorning the earth’s Night
Even ethereal angels see
Amidst the seas of humanity-
from distant heaven’s perch
the lost seekers that search
those hearts opening widest
Burn brightest of the lights
reflecting an eternal LIGHT
that illuminates the Night
It lets forgiveness rest
inside the spirits that dwell
in luminous peacefulness
He gives us the Light-
The greatest Love divine
Laid bare for all to find
As the lights shine bright
Upon this Christmastide
Warming your heart tonight
No place for amity to hide
those hearts opening widest
Burn brightest of the lights
Brilliant beacons that radiate
Attracting those who hesitate
Yet yearn to find
The greatest LOVE DIVINE
