at me loving to watch three squirrels playing in the yard after leaving a trail of chewed acorns on the rocks by our frog pond.

Clever poem. We have a big bois d'arc tree in the back that produces what we call horse apples. They are the bane of my existence in the fall, but it is fun to watch the squirrels eating them, leaving the lime-green detritus behind. Glad you can enjoy the wonders of back yard nature and then share it with us.

Hopping right in there to read with delighted wonder!
