Blockbuster Blowout

by Matthew Zangen

Beneath such weight a tripod bends
and tends to bate the western end
which aims to peak above the trend
beseeching legs of longer men.

Sharp imagery. Symbolism?

Hey Matthew, I chanced upon your name in a comment you made on one of my poems, so I figured I click on your library, see what you've been up to. I wasn't disappointed. Great poem...fun read...playful, but not without its serious side. Not sure I understand the title, except in a wider sense, great advertising for the poem. Continued success with your writing in 2012! :o)
