time does move by Charlie Morganlittle by little
it goes faster;
second grade fears,
catching third grade skirts.
books close,
followed
quickly by our minds.
get in line,
sweat to stay how you are;
wait.
never change; run from
renaissance, growth, change;
but hurry to be a clone.
a caricature of a hangman;
all hood, and rope handle;
ready to slay life itself. 10/17/2009 Posted on 10/17/2009 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan

| Posted by Glenn Currier on 10/31/09 at 02:53 PM Garthola is so right about your mastery of the time topic. One good thing (hopefully not the ONLY good thing) about getting as old as I am is that the moments of my present life seem all the more precious. I love the way you cherish it right out here in public for all of us to savor. Thanks again yet again Charlie, for being you in front of us. |
