State Of Mind by James ZealyWhen State of mind spins
Like a perpetual gyroscope
When a mind thinks clear
And joy pierces voice and eyes
When a spirit bursts forward
As if it were freshly born
When a smile careens wide
In light of darkest days
Then age has no meaning
It is a trifling statistic 10/16/2009 Author's Note: An aging body has nothing to do with mental agility.

Posted by Clara Mae Gregory on 10/17/09 at 02:12 PM You already know I love this one. But I will say it again.I love this. State of Mind is all powerful and knows no boundaries such as aging physicality. A young person can be older than an older person because of a negative state of mind. Personally,I am a young old....my state of mind is still in infancy, lol. That is why I symbolically still have need to suck my thumb. :) |
