LOL!! We can all relate to this is some way. Either having to listen to someone ad infinitum and ad nauseum OR we ourselves spout off when silence would have been golden! Poem of few words but profound!

Oh yes, I can surely relate. How many times my wife has said and how many more times she has thought without saying that author's note line. One of my biggest challenges cutting my words. Hey... that might be a good title for a poem. Hmmmm.... Thanks for this, Dave.

I truly loved this piece. We, as writers, always have such caring for the world of words. And it'd be a shame to waste even one.
