a plague of pianos

by Timothy Burns

what has happened to my world?
Did preocuppation tear down the citadels?
The towers of song sway from their foundations
and tempt the ground with it's groans of entropy.

The landscape that was once
a cool forrest during fall
is nothing more than a hot
plateau birthing up blistering
prairie winds.

Author's Note: A poem of sorts about writers block.

I love the title. A plaintive tone between words. xx

Some pretty cool imagery here.
