initialization sequence [fight and flight] by Laura DoomEvery picture paints a truth
long-taled but little understood,
imperfect circles circumventing youth
zen-meshed in greater good;
ambition brushed, a stroke of luck
bestows its brilliance unbound
enticing all but those that suck
to blow poetic dust around
however puerile or profound.
Jailbird as journalist, horrors to sing
in the key of catastrophe, wonders to fling;
launching lost hope like a mood on a swing
life is perched on her palette, its love-child takes wing. 08/28/2009 Posted on 08/28/2009 Copyright © 2025 Laura Doom

Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 08/31/09 at 01:23 AM Very enjoyable to read aloud. "enticing all but those that suck
to blow poetic dust around" - gotta love this, and "in the key of catastrophe" sings to me. Thanks for this.
