august sixth by Ava Blufor a moment,
the camera is found under her bed
with expired film all around
and she thinks it is a sign
of the coming Winter
and how cold it will be. 08/06/2009 Posted on 08/06/2009 Copyright © 2025 Ava Blu

Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 08/06/09 at 11:25 PM I love the unexpected element of this, the long-forgotten artifact that brings you into a wealth of ideas and memories that haven't been around in what seems like decades. What's so great about this piece though is that we don't need to know about all those memories. We don't need anything else but this image right here. It speaks volumes in just a few well-done lines. |
