an Occurrence by Charlie Morgana rainy day stops twice,
rewinds yesterday again;
fills the skies with days
of tomorrows, all doffing
their hats at the Himalaya.
carrying memories of wars,
famines, floods, malice,
the clouds are un-easy;
relentless: the password
of change, onward to om.
a tree-swing of reality
slams against the trunk.
making everything still.
still.
lichen grows, acid-clouds
silently apologize; gasses
form to liquids; to orbs.
the band is back, we take
our seat, behave accordingly.
mankind is occurring again.

Oh how you paint a picture and then just when I am comfortable with it, you thrust me into the heavens and back. The last line... omg Reading your poems is finding and drinking from an oasis. I am so glad you are occurring here right in front of our eyes, Charlie. |
