adjustment by Maria MassarellaChange glissades my palate
spreading the ease of ordinarity
on which I sup tonight
even luna reserves in her waxing
a veiled mystic eye and solicits
the quietude of pre-fullness
her lovestar a courteous bright
tunes gentle the urge to be dazzle
simply being its beautiful self
I divagate from wordingthewonder
of such whispering heart moments
that arise to music the breath
when light within light one revels
bliss'd to overflow a happiness full
fragrant as the kiss of peace

Posted by Glenn Currier on 09/03/09 at 04:37 PM Well, the whole poem slithers into the soul with its silent musical fugue, but it is that last line that brought a smile - recognizing my own orbit. Loverly, Maria. |
