Florida awaits by Charlie Morgandestined for Destin; my relief placard reads.
don't tread on me tatooed in my mind's eye:
it's a note to myself.
a reminder that what's new
is old and what's old is new.
so not to be too much about myself.
i'll don a pirate hat and be off
into a play-like world that seems
to exist(yet only in my boy's eyes)
that i've hauled all these years,
only to drop-off, leave in Destin. 06/26/2009 Posted on 06/26/2009 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan
