downhill pacer by Charlie Morganbathing suit, cowboy boots, grin;
c'mon Papaw, Papaw c'mon.
where you going, Kai?
kalamzoo, central america?
he says yeah!
let's go swimming, Papaw.
well you gotta take off the boots.
okay.
let's go Papaw, c'mon.
sit down here.
he's growing. now. every minute.
and i'm just passing through.
a wind on it's way around the globe.
soon to be captured by memories.
memories to memories.
a splash; in his life of memories
am i, and quiet desperation of want
surrounds me as i see life wafting by;
only to call my name and continue.
i see Kai walk away, assigned to grow-up.
