Newly Found by Bradd HowardI regret I lost you-
my voice
somewhere along the line
down sewer drains or between the cushions of the sofa.
Confusion in the cracks.
in searching they always say you will find what is lost in the last place you look.
so I checked the last place I would ever think to look-
inside myself.
masking itself as breath
it had been there all along.
Now all I had to do was breathe. 04/25/2009 Posted on 04/25/2009 Copyright © 2024 Bradd Howard
