Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 04/11/09 at 01:33 AM Really nice. I really like where this leads. It gives those last three lines an excellent final shot. |
Posted by Glenn Currier on 04/11/09 at 05:19 AM This is one of those poems that I hesitate to comment on because I figure I will miss the intended meaning... not that the intended meaning matters... :-) As I read it the second time I thought about the research (can't remember the German name of the physicist who did it) that demonstrates (I know not how) that matter and energy change when someone its manifestation. Maybe the hope of that last verse is that the above phenomenon will indeed occur and s/he WILL call. But, the meaning I personally like best is that I change when I notice, when I wait, when I anticipate. Thanks for a thought provoking piece George. |
Posted by Glenn Currier on 04/11/09 at 05:21 AM I meant to say... matter and energy change when someone OBSERVES their manifestation. |

And methinks (meknoweth?), George, that I know these things matter to you, from the blessed amounts we've traded a few stories of us. This is what a good author does ~ create a path for thinkers. Like you've done here.
