there is a classical and symmetrical feel to this ode. and I detect a tinge of regret in it as well which for me is an essential ingredient and lure if I am to be in the grip of a poem at all.
...such a plea and beacon: 'i/you're not done with her or the night'...yet the night is done...such a concept of hidden play...the drama of recognizition of lacking that kind of control...sorta stop the world and lemme off!, eh? i like all your work, i like this...like Mr. de Pinto says: has a lure to it...
