if i had a good car

by Bek Williams

if i had a good car
i'd drive you all over
and if i had a different life
i'd let you go down to the south side

if i rode the city bus
i'd ride with you to school every day
and if i had a good car
we wouldn't need to ride that bus anyway

and if i had a temper
you
would
ne-ver
know

Strange and quiet fascinating. I really enjoyed this.

Poetic day dreaming (hope not in class *winks*). An "if only" poem. The growing pains of youth clearly expressed.
