winter coat

by Kristina Woodhill

winter coats
are on sale
thigh length
leather

stirring
redolence
to nose

sleek with
a slight flare
long sleeves
some in red,
black basic

an urge of
brown animal
allowing
masquerade

to fit
into

stretch
fingers

toward
tonight

and
howl

(swish)

This make me think of, "you are what you eat" kinda thing....I love the smell of leather, maybe we secretly or unknowingly slip into these skins by way of some prehistoric gene....good one! Thanks.

A nice image of the cold and what we do to get through it. Heh. Beautifully done.
