On Avoidance by Anastasia ShowsPerpetually Paranoid.
Driving down winding backroads,
and bustling Metropolitan Streets.
I've been avoiding cars and places
for as long as i've been
dating boys.
Green Honda Civic
with Rubber ducky
on the dash...
I'll never eat
at that
Japanese Steak House
again.
Rebuilt Red and Gray
Dodge Ram truck...
Never shall i visit
Crystal Springs again.
Driver of the White Toyota Corolla
and the Silver Saturn whatever...
we are still friends.
I'm glad to see you
every time.
Aging rusty brown and white
Ford Bronco...
you barely deserve mention.
Driver of the wrecked, crinkled
Taupe Mazda ###?,who smells of
Curve cologne which curdles my stomach
at the smell of its stench...
never shall i avoid you,
for you roam too far from the beaten path.
