Sunday's Mood by Sandy M. HumphreySmile's and sunshine
quickly changes
"i'll say"
mood flashes
silence constricts
traffic flows slows
air is thick
as 3 in 4-door
glide silently
against the wind
on a road to better
communication
somewhere
Sunday drive
along country roads
radio crooning
what hearts will not
if you cannot speak
you might as well sing
alone and off key
accepting
that it is just
how this day
turned out
to be
11/04/2008 Author's Note: "Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness, gaitey and life to everything. It is the essence of order and lends to all that is good and just and beautiful." --Plato
