I November and I November II by A. Paige White
I November and I November II
a handle on this candle
cooling days, cooler nights
with a fire to douse such flame
and His arrows of soul delights
This year of eight and eights
for a number nine at a stretch
(you II, really give me the giggles)
Yes, I November you on November II
What shall I write fore III?
11/02/2008 Author's Note: I November remember on November II...
I decided to try Bruce's November a day poem, and bemused a line *** before November I but got caught up yesterday in other stuff and forgot to add to it. So anyway... This is a combo of yesterday's idea and looking through my old November poems to see what was going on in other years... Thanks Bruce! This is going to be fun! I don't think I need a prompt yet... ;-D
