Sourdough and Whole Wheat Baguette

I worked at
featured Sourdough
and Whole Wheat
baguette
which was served with dinner
automatically
and was offered at lunch
but the descriptions
the guests used
were always humorous:
"Yeah, uh, uh
gimme some of that
Chocolate bread!"
"I only want
that black bread, okay?"
But one man
still roams my mind
from time to time:
"Is everything okay?"
"Uh, yeah,
but there is something
funny about this bread."
"What's wrong with it, sir?"
"It tastes...,
kinda sour."
"That's our
Sourdough baguette."
"Well, I guess
everything is okay then!"
I chuckle to myself still
even while writing this.

| Posted by Charlie Morgan on 10/30/08 at 03:34 PM ...i eat w/ a couple that we might have a chinese guy as our waiter and he[being louder than i...could ever be] hollers at a chinese girl/lady about his diet coke, tawk about wearing my white rear out...learn the name, see the person, be in a Zen moment, don't be just another $#%@ and his daughter and son and son were in food service industry...and he brings out the dreader calculator and goes on w/ that percentage crap...lovely get-back on the ne'er do wells... |
