As It Were by Joe CramerThis pen of ecstasy
Purloins more words
On a page, easily.
I wish my life were
The same, it is not.
I wonder what
Will eventually
Become of me
As it were. 01/13/1976 Author's Note: ... old stuff.....

Were words my life
I'd be doing great exploits
Alas, my words also too often lack the energy
And I am left to console myself with lesser words |
