Unknown

by George Hoerner

i roll in the snow
much like my dog
who searches with
every sniff

i leap in the air
much like my dog
knowing now
that spring
is coming

i take that leap
of faith
with every letter
applied to the page

that somewhere
there is someone
who will read

that someone
might catch
a glimpse
of what
i believe
i've seen

knowing that
i could be wrong

I'm not sure that the last two lines matter - reading about what you have observed and written down has solid merit all on its own.
