Love Life Lost Looking Away

by Jared Orlando

I've came across these roaring, raging waters
Lifted my glass up to the sky;
My feet submerged under sand and shell
I blew a solitary kiss goodbye.
Scenes are weightless, disguised as wind
They whisp in summer dances;
I feel a little fluttering over my shoulder
That I dismiss as second chances.
A small incident steals my sights
and I've fallen fast to the earth;
As a sullen boy, I'm a graphic toy
Built among molten plastic since birth.
I faulter for some leverage,
Some inclined plane amongst the heat;
A sharp pain inside my chest alerts me
I will never again stand on feet.
My last vision was one cloud moving
A little faster than the rest;
But my lover wanted to leave her mark-
A silver bullet in my chest.

Captivating way of expressing the meat of the title Jared. Kudos!
