princess fiona is pregnant...again

by Nanette Bellman

you have no idea what it's like to be me and hear,
what i would deem as a poor excuse for a woman,
say she's expecting a child...or her seventeenth.

i probably wouldn't care so much
but she can't even take care of herself.
let alone the life she's already brought into this world.
maybe i should be mad at her husband too.
i am, because it takes two to tango
and they both need dance lessons.

this world is already tough.
this rat race called life that we try and finish
or just survive, whichever,
is hard enough.

why would you pre-disposition your child
before they're even thought of?

...ahh, nanette when the world wakes up and listens, tell them i said 'ditto'...a good taste o' sarcasm goes a long way...a subsumed grrrr-anger but so truthful, and does anyone wonder why palentologists refer to it as 'the selfish gene' that of alllll species...

Thought provoking piece Nanette. I especially like these lines: i am, because it takes two to tango and they both need dance lessons. As it applies to planned parenthood.
