bygone (colab w/ Anita Mac Auslan) by Morgan D HafeleIf I leave too soon,
well, that's just my prerogative.
Timing's never really been
a strength of mine, anyway.
And she told me the stars
Are nothing but liars
Anyway, hiding their deepest
Secrets behind that oily black.
I want nothing more
Than to disappear under a
Velvet blanket
And wrap myself in liars.
While you do nothing but
Murder my self confidence
With accusations
And pretty little I love yous.
She saw through your deceit
Before I even knew your name.
I couldn’t taste the poison you fed me.
I took your bait.
I’ve come to see the truth
In the sky and in you.
The stars are nothing but liars
And you’re burnt out…
Just like them. 08/30/2008 Author's Note: this happened because Anita is awesome! and then some!

| Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 09/05/08 at 06:47 PM A disturbingly dark but very well written piece Morgan and Anita. It never fails to amaze me how the human mind interprets different stimuli. |
