Seduce Me

by Alison McKenzie

I love the depth of you,
The darker shades of contemplation;
The waters that call to me.

The adoration of your child’s child,
The magic I sense beyond the miles
In your garden,
The leisure of your summers.

There is a balloon with our name on it,
And I, with you, would ride,
Coursing over trees and oceans,
Into the rising sun and out again,
Laughing over peaches
Drizzling down chins
And slurping the excess in kisses,
Sweet kisses.

These dreams (of you) seduce me.

...Mrs. Wordsmither, i bow to you for poetics of warmth with lust: love. if i had this written to/about me, s'pose i'd move the proverbial mountain, you speak of a love, longing in length, if we/humans could bottle your words, we'd be rich...great write ali.

A poignant romantic piece Alison. All three stanzas quite good and work well to contribute to the whole. I especially like the balloon and fruit imagery.
