Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 08/23/08 at 01:52 PM LOL! I can sure relate to this one, though thankfully I've been fortunate to have enough successes balance out the faliures. This is a brilliant poem in my opinion in how it aptly captures that aspect of the human condition we all must navigate through. I especially like these lines: You'll fail
'til you think you've got failure perfected. Equally brilliant in how you close off with the positive message: The sun will still rise, leaving us the opportunity for more failure or learning from them to make successes. Kudos! Adds to favourites.

Posted by George Hoerner on 08/23/08 at 03:29 PM Nice write m'lady. I thing a life like nature has its cycles. And although the sun shines it doesn't really seem to care. It shines when we're happy or sad. Well done. |
