LOL! I can sure relate to this one, though thankfully I've been fortunate to have enough successes balance out the faliures. This is a brilliant poem in my opinion in how it aptly captures that aspect of the human condition we all must navigate through. I especially like these lines: You'll fail
'til you think you've got failure perfected. Equally brilliant in how you close off with the positive message: The sun will still rise, leaving us the opportunity for more failure or learning from them to make successes. Kudos! Adds to favourites.

Nice write m'lady. I thing a life like nature has its cycles. And although the sun shines it doesn't really seem to care. It shines when we're happy or sad. Well done.

We all have good days. We all have bad days. But those days will end, and a new one waits tomorrow. What a beautiful reminder of it.

And after enough worst thing you learn to handle them with just the right amount of grace or so I learned I have just yesterday, so thank you for the timeliness of your poem for the worst things do happen and then we get up and do it all over again. smh

My life in a nutshell except every once and a while - i actually read some of my more reflective writing and i think - oh scott give them hope give hope - oh scott you are a self possessed egomaniac in a the body of an adolescent spoiled freak - other times i am so forgiving to others and myself that Jesus has been known to come for pointers - up shot is - focus on the light and the mass sub-conscious mantra - i am aware enough to notice that goodness in thought energy - and belief in your/ the higher power and faith and truth that my god does not make mistakes and that only a hand full are needed to alter earth's spiritual axis for good, just a few like one - others will tag along with our guidance - this - all of this ... life - has been, will be. forever perfect - just - 'perfect from the start' hard to belive it's been perfect from the start thank you for turning on that switch in the brain that i usually forget to remember exists
