Too Much Beer Loosens Too Many Tongues by Melissa Arel
Too much beer loosens too many tongues..
That amber ale of veritas imparts to delusional men
Glorified stories of their golden years;
And with a cheer of their beer the truth comes in waves
Upon bar stools and countertops,
And innocent passer-bys in drops of spit.
This six pack brew has replaced their six pack abs
But the laughter and the boastings never cease
While the pitchers of stout keep on coming.
