Unanswered ?'s (or why even ask)

by Sandy M. Humphrey

?
a sentence could be a simple
punctuation left hanging
a pause dangling
a why
what
when
where
for you are waiting
my ?
is answered
with more ?'s
until I provide paint by number
details supplying just enough
information to satisfy
my own ?
for if you volunteer
freely solid as brick facts
as to what may really be
the answer
you just
might
give enough details
to hang yourself
for I may not really
know what it is I am asking
after all
so be sure before you answer
to ask plenty of your own
?'s I may get so
frustrated I will
just give up
and go away
and leave
all the
?'s
unanswered
. !

Well done lady. Of course, many times the question we pose is not the question we want answered. And at times we really don't want an answer. Language and the human mind don't always mesh the we would like.

Ya, sometimes the truth is over-rated. In my world, anyway.

I will follow George's lead on this one. You've expressed this quandry very well.
