if i could write a masterpiece

by P.T. Brooks

If I could write a masterpiece
There would seem one reason to
So I would write of love
A love two lovers knew
And I would write of smiles
Each time your lips would curl
Exploiting beyond no doubt
The beauty of a girl
I would write of kisses
And the passion in your feel
I would write of wishes
And fairy tale turned real
If I could write a masterpiece
There rings one title true
So I will write a masterpiece
And name it after you

Lovely - a timeless honor to have a poem written about one like this.

How very sweet, she must have loved to hear your feelings for her in such a romantic way.

Very simple and very beautiful. I bet she cried a little when she read this.
