Moving to China

by Joe Cramer

I'm moving to China

If I could, I would

Perhaps I could find her

I know I should

Not.

What else have I got?

There are a lot more women in China

Perhaps then I could find her.

This much I know

There I should go.

I don't know how to speak

Chinese, so I would squeak

By with hand motions

To convey my emotions.

So I'm moving to China

Perhaps there I will find her.

It is an interesting thought. One that I really enjoy thanks to some great word play on your part. Well done, as always.

Very interesting poem - remember when it was on the other side of the world??, so very remote, and now I know countless friends who have stood atop the Great Wall. I bet there is someone for you right around the corner, James. This poem is one of my favs of yours right now.
