Because she has you
and I have not,
I've come to hate
our similarities,
hate the fact
that we own the same pair of flip flops,
have read many of the same books,
quote lines from the same movies,
and spend our Monday nights in
watching the same television programs.
I have come to hate
that we both hold you
in such high esteem,
and especially that she only
is privileged to hold you
actually.
