Distorted Reality by Brian Francis
They’d rather not hear what a guest has to say
Unless they are towing the party line
It isn’t insightful their diatribe rants
It’s personal opinion riddled with lies
They might as well say this is my show
And this show is all about me.
It isn’t about what has happened
Or about what soon will be
It’s simply the ranting of a moron host
Espousing their views on TV
Opinions are easily converted to facts
And true facts are clouded and shrouded in lies
They might as well not call it the news
Talking heads interviewed by talking heads
Presenting themselves as the bearer of truth
The ultimate purveyors of falsehoods with smiles
It isn’t about what has happened
Or about what soon will be
It’s simply the ranting of a moron host
